Carnival Mardi Gras is the inaugural Excel-class ship and the first LNG-powered vessel in the Carnival fleet, launched in 2021 from Port Canaveral. Carrying approximately 5,282 guests, she introduced BOLT — the world's first roller coaster at sea — alongside six distinct themed zones, 20+ dining venues including Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse, the first BOLT coaster at sea, and Heroes Trivia Bar. Mardi Gras sails 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
