Freedom of the Seas is the first Freedom-class ship, launched in 2006 and carrying approximately 3,634 guests. She was the world's largest cruise ship at launch and introduced the FlowRider surf simulator, the H2O Zone interactive water play area, and a multi-tiered pool complex. Freedom was later amplified with additional features including a waterslide and expanded outdoor spaces, homeporting from Miami.
