I discovered something magical during the worst storm of my cruise—peace found me on my balcony while the Atlantic raged around me.
I'm not going to lie. When the Valiant Lady started rocking like a mechanical bull at a rodeo bar, I completely freaked out. We were supposed to be sailing smooth waters toward Bermuda, and instead, the Caribbean Sea had apparently decided to throw the world's most dramatic tantrum. My cabin—a gorgeous adult-only Red Room with that signature Virgin Voyages vibe—suddenly felt like it was being tossed around by a toddler who didn't want to nap.
