I almost missed the most magical moment of my cruise—until my alarm went off at 5:47 AM on our first sea day.
I'm not a morning person. Never have been. Back home, my idea of a perfect day starts around 10 AM with strong coffee and zero obligations before noon. So when my travel buddy Sarah suggested we wake up early to catch the sunrise from the top deck on our first sea day aboard MSC Grandiosa, I laughed. Actually laughed.
